As the name suggests, the mattress of a motorhome with a transverse bed is located transversely in the rear of the vehicle. Although the transverse bed is identical in size to the queen bed, this variation significantly saves space. In contrast to the free-standing queen bed, the transverse bed is only accessed from one side. In this way, the space of the motorhome can be optimally utilized.
